About Company:
A leading French bakery, café, and restaurant, known for artisanal breads, pastries, and traditional French recipes, is opening its first flagship store in Cambodia to deliver a premium guest experience.
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead all culinary operations, combining traditional French baking expertise with strong restaurant management. The role oversees bakery, pastry, and hot kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality standards, memorable dining experiences, and strong team leadership in collaboration with local and international partners.
Responsibilities:
Kitchen Operations
- Oversee daily food preparation and kitchen operations to ensure the brand’s global quality standards are met.
- Plan the daily production needs and maintain quality of all food products.
- Ensure consistency in preparation, presentation, taste, and baking standards.
- Maintain food safety, HACCP compliance, proper labeling, storage, and temperature control.
- Supervise daily team tasks, solve issues proactively, and support management as required.
Culinary Leadership
- Lead menu development and seasonal launches for bakery, pastries, and hot kitchen.
- Uphold brand identity and deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Manage inventory (daily/weekly/monthly), prepare market lists, and control food costs.
- Minimize waste and meet assigned cost targets.
- Handle related administrative duties.
Team Management
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen team to meet brand standards.
- Conduct daily briefings and ongoing training.
- Foster effective communication and a positive work environment.
Reporting & Business Growth
- Report performance and KPIs to the General Manager.
- Attend management meetings and maintain cross-department collaboration.
- Ensure guest satisfaction and contribute to continuousF&B innovation and growth.
Profile We Looking For:
- Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in fine dining
- Professional culinary qualification required
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proven experience in food cost control, inventory management, and operations
- Computer literacy and administrative knowledge (ordering & costing)
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
- Creative cooking and excellent presentation skills
- Strategic, detail-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Flexible to work weekends and holidays
